Established in response to the tragic 1980 fire at the Eventide Home, Golden Age Home was created to provide a safe and nurturing environment for elderly individuals who are unable to care for themselves due to age, infirmity, or other circumstances. Since opening its doors in 1985, the home has grown into a beacon of hope, offering structured accommodations and services tailored to meet the unique needs of our residents.
Built on a four-acre property, our facility is designed with eight clusters (A-H), each equipped to provide personalized care. These clusters serve as individual communities, fostering a sense of belonging and family among our residents. Each resident is housed in a comfortable, shared room, with easy access to communal recreational spaces, dining areas, and medical support services.

We regularly update our available spaces to accommodate new residents.
Applicants must go through an assessment with the Poor Relief Department to determine eligibility.
Rooms are designed for both independent living and assisted care, ensuring each resident receives the support they need.
